An oasis amidst the dusty arid landscape of Rajasthan, Mount Abu is the state's only hill station in the Aravalli Range. Perched at an altitude of 4000 feet above sea level, it is surrounded by verdant forests and watered by the serene Nakki Lake. Of the many attractions in Mount Abu, this lake is probably the most famous of all. The mountain is home to several Hindu temples, including the Adhar Devi Temple (also known as Arbuda Devi Temple), carved out of solid rock; the Shri Raghunathji Temple; a shrine and temple to Dattatreya built atop the Guru Shikhar peak; and the Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple. The charming hill town is an eclectic mix of experiences that you do not expect in a state which is mostly known for its arid desert capes. Watered by the serene Nakki Lake and close to the famous Dilwara temples and centuries-old forts, the hill station has enough to keep visitors busy for two to three days. Mount Abu’s beautiful landscape, quaint heritage hotels, bustling street markets, restaurants and cafes make it one of the most popular getaways in western India.
On arrive Abu Road railway station, transfer to the hotel, check in the hotel and stay overnight.
After breakfast, transfer to the full-day Mount Abu Sightseeing. Stay overnight.
